In a User Interface Typography class, we were assigned webpage for the Red River College Polytech Grad Show as a group of 3 designers. Our group was in charge of creating a web design for the Digital Media Design – Interaction Design & Development program.

We went through different phases of brainstorming and wireframes. We would create our designs separately, then come together and integrate the best aspects of each design and the different functionalities we had planned.

In the end, the final design was something we are all proud of. We had high-fidelity wireframes for desktop, tablet, and mobile. The desktop wireframe was prototyped to illustrate the basic functionalities we planned for the website.

This assignment strengthened my ability to communicate effectively with a team. Doing this group assignment allowed me to receive constructive criticism, problem solve with others, and advocate for different design decisions.
